The sales of the small-sized cars has been close to 3/4 of the total car sales in the country. As a result, Honda has decided to launch the brand new Honda Jazz in the Indian market, targeting the small car segment. As a good way of publicity Honda had put up some attractive pictures of Honda Jazz on their website, in order to attract the crowd, before it could be even seen in the showroom.
The response of the crowd seems to be pretty good, as the advanced bookings have already been started in all the major cities of India. The car will also be launched in other Asian countries simultaneously as well.
So, if you happen to be an Indian Honda automobile fan, then the long wait is over. You don't need to look at your Honda Jazz wallpaper anymore, as you can get your hands on it for real, in just about Rs 7,00,000 (equivalent to $14,757).
The head of Indian operations disclosed that the company would be eying on increasing the production of these cars further. However, as of know they expect to increase the overall sales up to 20,000 by the end of the year. They also plan on launching another small mid-size car, which be even further affordable, and economic than the Honda Jazz.
