BMW is a luxury and elegant car. BMW CSL, which means coupe Sport Lightweight, light is more powerful version of the BMW M3. Production has been limited to the CSL in 1385 and built in Regensburg between June and December 2003. Partly because of low production run and the clearing DOT and EPA standards in North America, the CSL was never exported to the United States. Although they never officially exported have at least one known example in the U.S.
CSL are serious weight reduction program that shed 243 pounds from the standard M3 production car. The first thing is probably one of the introduction of the exposed carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic roof, the roof light is to help save weight and lower center of gravity of the car. This program also includes the loss of electric chair, AC, radio, sound insulation and air bag. Rear window glass was replaced with a special thin and boot floor is made of cardboard, so that may not be good for storing food in the trunk for fear of falling through!
To keep with the theme of making hardcore sports versions of the M3, the car has been installed with almost racing slicks for tires, you must sign a disclaimer saying you understand the ban will not work in the rain. Cars are not practical day-to-day as the standard M3, but the driver is suitable for those who come to the track on occasion and if you must leave the near Suburbanizing! BMW has no plans to build a CSL version of the current M3 model but focus on adding new lineup of M car based on the time x5 and X6 SUV vehicles. This is a decision by BMW because the less they seemed to stray from the start their racing heritage more and more each year.
